I think I'm suffering from multiple knit personality syndrome.

I have about 5 projects that I am actively working on. Each pretty different from the other.  A pair of socks (this is Soctober, y'all!), a scarf, and then these below knit gems.

I'll seriously switch from one to the other any given time of day depending on my mood.  I'll even do a row of one thing, put it down, and pick up something else and do row put it down and pick up yet another thing and do a few more rows!  It also doesn't help that I'm feeling very inspired lately and cannot stop writing new ideas down and feeling the urge to cast on for yet more things!

I finally gave my Foxfiber yarn a rebirth by casting on for the Minimalist Cardigan.

I'm almost done with the back having feverishly started knitting it a few weeks ago.  I am SO excited to be using this beautiful cormo wool /silk blend finally.  It's so soft and the color is so rich. And although I wasn't at Rheinback this year, I can feel somewhat part of that weekend as that is where I acquired this beautiful yarn.

In keeping with the burnt orange theme I am also only a few inches away from finishing the front of the Honeycomb vest from Knitty.

Pumpkin Vest, front

Working the two sides at the same time required some concentration – not to mention patience – since the Rowan Felted Tweed just wanted to keep sticking to itself.  I think I spent more than half my time untangling the yarn than knitting.  Of course with each row completed I am getting more and more excited about finishing it and having something to show!

And don't think I have gotten over my Brioch Obsession. I have two more neckwarmes completed a beautiful beige in Rowan Cocoon and this in progress one in beautiful and soft Lorna's Laces Shepherd Worsted.

Can't get enough Brioche!

All of this knitting is getting me through a hectic October and what I expect to be an equally busy November.  I am in the process of packing up my apartment to move just a few blocks away to a nicer apartment (read: Dishwasher!!).  My wedding plans are still coming together and we're within the 6mo mark!  It seriously will be here before we know it!  And I am getting really nervous about this year's Presidential election.  I am so anxious to vote and get it done and over with.  I just hope the best for all of us! (That's all the politics I'll let out! ha!)

So back to the battle in my mind: hmm socks, scarf, cardigan, or vest… which to knit now!

PS: I think my stats monitor exploded on Friday! Wow, I didn't realize how many of you were really waiting for that pattern!! Its getting me all excited/nervous to see all the hats! (nervous in that i hope the pattern is OK! ha! let me know!) And excited as this is the first pattern I've put out anywhere and I'm sure it will be surreal seeing hats popping up all over the place.  If you haven't yet – Queue it Up!

You are on such a roll with the knitting! I wish I had even a smidge of that mojo. I’m seriously loving all your projects! Wish we lived closer so I could borrow! Haha… xo-S.

Sometimes I wonder if having a bunch of different projects going, and jumping from one to the other, would be a way to go. I usually end up focusing on one or two things until they are done, but sometimes have that “slog” feeling towards the end.
